Boris and Svetlaya’s journey began in 2012 when they were rescued as orphans in the Sikhote-Alin mountains. Part of a sophisticated conservation program designed to rehabilitate and reintroduce tigers to their natural habitat, the pair underwent a carefully managed release process in 2014.

But this process requires great caution and attention to details in preparing cubs for this journey.”
