Spanish Judge conformed with the decision of the state prosecutors to probe two possible tax fraud cases against Shakira in 2018.
Shakira Isabel Mebarak Ripoll a.k.a Shakira, was faced with trouble in line with tax fraud in Spain. This had been announced last Thursday by a court in Barcelona as reported by Trib Live.
The court opened an investigation into an alleged second tax fraud case against the pop star.
Shakira was to face a trial for allegedly not paying the $13.9 million tax on the income she earned between 2012 to 2014.
The pop star denied this tax fraud allegation.
These two tax fraud cases will be handled by a court in Esplugues de Llobregat, a town near Barcelona.

Shakira And Her Alleged Tax Fraud Cases
Shakira had been living in Spain since having a serious relationship with Gerard Pique, the now-retired soccer player.
The couple with their two children lived together in Barcelona until 2022 when both decided to end their 11-year relationship.
During Shakira’s stay in Spain, the court in Barcelona alleged that the pop star who became a Grammy winner spent a longer period in Spain and should have paid taxes in the country, even if Shakira’s official residence was in the Bahamas.
The firm said that the pop star will be receiving her notification on the second tax fraud case. who now lives in Miami, has yet to receive notification of the second probe.
Shakira is now living in Miami focusing on her career.
