ELIGIBLE Americans can receive free money if they take action. According to Top Class Actions, this is because employees of the Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) were incorrectly charged for healthcare premiums.
Americans that can receive free money will apparently happened on a monthly basis and was withheld from pension checks. The Retiree Health Care Trust was the defendant in the dispute, according to the CTA, which operates trains and buses. Under a settlement, the autonomous company has agreed to pay $80 million to CTA retirees who have been negatively impacted.
According to The U.S. Sun, it is uncertain how much money you will receive, but you could be eligible for that. This might be you if you are a retired CTA employee who was recruited before September 6, 2001.
The settlement recognized those who retired before January 1, 2007, and were entitled for health benefits on July 1, 2009, as class members.
There is no action required to collect the money, however class members were notified of their eligibility through letter at their last known address. Those that eligible to receive free money will be sent a check in the mail. A total of 6,354 pensioners are eligible to receive free money or financial assistance.

However, there are several settlements available outside of Chicago in which Americans could be eligible to receive free money.
According to The U.S. Sun, customers who bought TGI Friday’s items in grocery shops, for example, could be eligible for payment from a $900,000 pot.
To declare eligibility to receive free money, you must submit a claim form online by Monday, September 25.
For those who are eligible for the settlement must immediately apply by September 27, in order to receive free money or compensation.
