An 18-year-old Mississippi man was arrested by officers in Mt. Vernon, Indiana, after police say he was driving double the speed limit while intoxicated and was later on discovered as a bank robbery suspect.

Officers said they noticed a car speeding around 4th and Elm Street on Monday. As per to the Mt. Vernon Police Department, the driver, who was a bank robbery suspect, was travelling roughly 60 mph in a 30 mph zone while making “erratic movements.”
In a recent published article by 14 News, as per to the officers, the driver, later identified as Darrell Hinton, who was a bank robbery suspect, went into a turn lane, struck a concrete curb, and nearly collided with another driver.
Police believe they smelled alcohol after pulling Hinton over.
Hinton, who was bank robbery suspect, told authorities he was in the area for work but came to Mt. Vernon to see a friend, according to a police report.

When Hinton, a bank robbery suspect, stepped out of the car, officers noticed an open alcoholic beverage inside.
According to Tristate, in accordance to a police report, officers learned Hinton was wanted for a felony indictment for Armed Robbery of a Bank and Assault with a Deadly Weapon in Pearl River County, Mississippi.
Hinton, a bank robbery suspect, was arrested and brought to the Posey County Jail, where a breath test revealed a result of.128.
Hinton, who was a bank robbery suspect, has been charged of Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated, Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated Endangering, Reckless Driving, Minor in Possession of an Alcoholic Beverage, and Speeding.
