Elsie Wiggington’s Suspected Remains Discovered: Frederick Wiggington Charged in Amherst County Case
According to True Crime News, in Amherst County, Virginia, 37-year-old Frederick Wiggington Jr. has been arrested after authorities found the remains of his 45-year-old wife, Elsie Wiggington, under a concrete slab at their home. On August 14, police searched their property on Pendleton Drive and discovered the suspected remains. Elsie Wiggington had been missing since June 26, 2023, and the medical examiner is still confirming if the remains are hers.

Frederick Wiggington Faces First-Degree Murder Charges After Wife’s Remains Found, Following Her Fears of Danger
Before she went missing, Elsie Wiggington told her foster sister that she was afraid for her life, saying, “he’s going to kill me.” Frederick Wiggington was first charged with hiding a dead body but is now also facing charges of first-degree murder and assault. He is being held in jail while the investigation continues.
