According to True Crime News, in Albany, Georgia, 63-year-old Johnnie Jones has been arrested and faces several charges, including murder, after allegedly attacking 40-year-old Melissa Law. On August 10, an off-duty officer found Law unconscious on South Jefferson Street. She was taken to the hospital, where doctors found she had been sexually assaulted. Johnnie Jones was first charged with aggravated battery and rape but was later held as the main suspect.
