The police talked to Carpenter and found that he had hurt his father’s face with a gun.

The argument started when Carpenter’s father said something about his son’s feet smelling bad. This made Carpenter upset and he threatened to shoot his father. He then got his gun and pointed it at him. He said he accidentally pulled the trigger, but the police didn’t believe him. As a result, Carpenter was arrested for trying to hurt his father and for putting children in danger. There were children under the age of 14 living in the house when the shooting happened.
