The breach exposed private information like social security numbers and medical records. The settlement ends a lawsuit and is divided into two groups based on the type of data stolen.
People whose social security numbers were leaked can claim up to $1,000 for losses and possibly an extra $5,000 for major damages. Those without leaked social security numbers can claim up to $40 for lost time. To get the money, you need to show proof like receipts or account statements.
