According to True Crime News, after 50 years, the search for Doris Wurst and her 3-year-old daughter Caren ended with a significant discovery. On August 10, 2024, divers from Sunshine State Sonar found a 1960s Chevy Impala at the bottom of a canal in Plantation, Florida. Inside the car were human remains and personal items like clothing, shoes, and toys, which are believed to belong to Doris and Caren. The two were last seen on November 7, 1974, and their case had gone cold despite several attempts to solve it over the years.
