Deadline Approaching for U-Haul Customers to Claim $100 from $5 Million Data Breach Settlement
According to The US Sun, Americans have just two months left to claim part of a $5 million settlement from U-Haul after a data breach exposed customer information. The class action lawsuit said an unauthorized person accessed U-Haul’s files, revealing personal details like names and driver’s license numbers. U-Haul denied any wrongdoing but agreed to the $5.085 million settlement.
Eligible U-Haul customers can receive around $100 by filing claims before October 15. To qualify, you must have lived in California during specific periods and received a Notice of Recent Security Incident.
