Legal and Emotional Fallout from Gregor’s Sentencing
(According to True Crime News,) in Ocean County New Jersey Christopher Gregor 32 has been sentenced to 20 years in prison for aggravated manslaughter and endangering a child. Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley Billhimer announced the sentencing after Gregor was convicted by a jury in May. Gregor must serve at least 85% of his sentence before he can seek parole. The tragic incident occurred on April 2, 2021 when Stafford Township Police responded to the death of Gregor’s 6-year-old son Corey Micciolo. An autopsy found Corey had blunt force trauma injuries. Surveillance footage showed Gregor forcing Corey to run on a treadmill and increasing the speed causing the boy to fall multiple times. The prosecution argued Gregor punished Corey because his mother brought him home late the previous day.

Legal and Emotional Impact of Gregor’s Sentencing on Corey Micciolo’s Family
Throughout the legal proceedings the case garnered significant attention particularly concerning Corey Micciolo’s mother’s previous efforts to obtain full custody due to concerns about her son’s safety.
