Lancaster County Man Accused of Sexually Assaulting 9-Year-Old Girl
According to Local 21 News, Christopher Zweifel, a 57-year-old resident of Lancaster County, was taken into custody and accused of multiple sex offenses. The allegations state that in August 2023, Zweifel sexually assaulted a 9-year-old girl at his residence. The situation was brought to light when the girl’s mother observed unusual behavior in her daughter, prompting her to inquire further. Subsequently, the child disclosed that Zweifel had engaged in inappropriate touching, causing significant emotional distress to her and her family.

East Earl Township Police Continue Investigation After Arrest in Child Sexual Assault Case
The police began investigating on June 26 after being informed of the Childline investigation. On July 31, the victim was forensically interviewed and shared details of the assault, which happened while she was playing video games at Christopher Zweifel’s home. Christopher Zweifel was arrested on Monday, and the East Earl Township Police are continuing to investigate the case.
