A 33-year-old man, Victor Torres was arrested and charged with eight counts of sexual abuse and sexual battery for allegedly having sex with a 17-year-old girl in his car.

Coconut Creek police arrested Victor Torres, a 33-year-old man from Tamarac on July 24. He was accused of having sex with a 17-year-old girl in his car at her apartment complex. The girl’s mother told the police about the suspected sexual encounters.
The police report said that Torres and the girl met at work. They started talking on WhatsApp in May and would meet up to have sex. Torres would drive his black Chevrolet Camaro to secluded areas where they would have sex. The girl told the police that she started feeling uncomfortable because of their age difference but she didn’t say that Torres forced her to do anything, according to the report of Tapinto.

Torres told the police that he had sex with the girl using condoms and knowing that she was a minor. He also said that he knew he shouldn’t have had sex with her before she turned 18. Because of this, Torres was charged with eight counts of sexual abuse and sexual battery. He is being held in jail until he can pay a bond of $20,000 for each charge. This case shows how important it is to report and prevent sexual abuse and exploitation of young people.
