According to WFSB EYEWITNESS NEWS3, in Bethany, Connecticut Janice Howard the parks and recreation director faces intense scrutiny after one of her former employees Anthony Mastrangelo was arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting children. Despite initial complaints filed with the Department of Children and Families (DCF) Mastrangelo continued his employment within the department raising serious questions about Howard’s handling of the situation. Town leaders in Bethany held a prolonged closed-door meeting to discuss Howard’s future in light of these troubling developments.
