New $1,300 Stimulus Checks to Be Sent Out – Minnesota Reissues Payments for Unclaimed Funds
According to the report of La Grada Online, this month, many Americans will get a new $1,300 stimulus check directly in their bank accounts. This money is meant to help those who might be struggling financially. Unlike rare lottery winnings, these stimulus checks are available to eligible citizens based on certain criteria set by the government.
In Minnesota, a stimulus program started in May 2023 has been giving out up to $1 billion to 2.1 million residents through direct deposits and paper checks. Some people had trouble receiving their funds due to banking errors or other issues. To fix this, the Department of Revenue is reprinting checks for those who didn’t get theirs yet and will do another round of reprints to cover the remaining unclaimed funds.
