Tragic Weekend Incident – St. Petersburg Man Dies in Accidental Fatal Shooting
I read the news from True Crime News about a tragic incident in St. Petersburg over the weekend. It’s heartbreaking to hear that a 50-year-old man lost his life due to a shooting. On July 21, deputies from the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office received a call about a fatal shooting on 49th Avenue North at around 5 p.m. When they reached the scene, they discovered Kevin Bishop on the floor with a gunshot wound to his chest. The reports suggest that Bishop and his 57-year-old roommate, William Tompkins, had been drinking alcohol and handling what they believed were unloaded guns.
