According to CBS17.COM, in Raleigh, North Carolina, GoTriangle has introduced the Transit Assistance Pass (TAP) GoPass as a pivotal initiative to enhance accessibility to public transportation. TAP GoPass Enrollment Opens: Free Bus Rides and Discounted Fares
Enrollment for the TAP GoPass program opens this Wednesday providing interested applicants until August 1 to register. During this introductory period, participants can ride the bus for free while transitioning to paid fares easing the financial burden of accessing essential transportation services. The introduction of the TAP GoPass is a strategic step by GoTriangle to streamline transportation access particularly benefiting underserved communities and individuals with limited mobility options. GoTriangle has seen a notable rise in the use of their Umo mobile app with around 9,000 downloads just in July.
