The trial date for Jeffrey Fultz Chiropractor in Juneau before, who is accused of sexually abusing 14 patients, has not yet been set after more than two years since he was initially charged.
The Reason Why the Trial Date for Jeffrey Fultz Chiropractor Before in Juneau Has Not Yet Been Set
On Wednesday, District Attorney Jessalyn Gillum told KTOO that part of the reason for the prolonged Trial Date of Jeffrey Fultz Chiropractor is because so many more victims have come forward.
“You know, the investigation into their particular allegation has to be done, appropriately and thoroughly, every time someone new steps forward,” Gillum added.
For seven years, Jeffrey Fultz Chiropractor was employed by the Southeast Alaska Regional Health Consortium. 14 women, most recently in March, have come forward since the initial accusation in 2021 to claim that Jeffrey Fultz Chiropractor raped them while pretending to be their doctor.
Gillum stated that another factor could cause the trial to be delayed. Daniel Schally, the judge assigned to the case, will retire at the end of August. According to Gillum, a different judge would now be assigned to the case.
