A 52-year-old Karen Baker appeared in Clark County Superior Court and faces allegations of vehicular homicide and driving under the influence after driving drunk and crashing into a West Vancouver house that killed a 37-year-old woman inside.

SOURCE– Karen Baker appeared in court last Thursday allegedly of vehicular homicide and driving under the influence after driving drunk and crashing into a West Vancouver house, killing Danielle A. Abrahams inside. The US judge set bail at $250,000 for Karen Baker for the incidents she allegedly faces.
Vancouver police officers responded to the crash incident at 6:38 p.m. on August 3, 2023, at West Fourth Plain Boulevard and Fruity Valley Road. The officers on the scene reported a car, Hyundai Sonata crashed into a house and noticed Karen Baker was trapped under the car. Danielle A. Abrahams’ house was broken in multiple places and she died on the scene. Karen Baker suffered a broken back and was transported to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center. Karen Baker’s sample blood was sent to the state crime lab for toxicology testing.
Karen Baker’s family called the police that she was out of the hospital and would turn herself in. Vancouver police officers met Karen Baker at the jail where she was booked. The family of Abraham created a GoFundMe to raise money for the legal cost which can be found at gofund.me/a9612dea.
