(According to KOB4), in a recent development in Albuquerque 19-year-old Anthony Farias has been apprehended by Bernalillo County sheriff’s deputies following his involvement in a series of daring and illegal activities documented on his Instagram account stolen scat. The account gained significant attention for showcasing illegal street racing and reckless maneuvers often involving high-speed chases and attempts to evade law enforcement. According to court documents deputies initiated their investigation after Farias posted videos that revealed his precise location prompting a pursuit when they attempted to arrest him. Despite initially escaping capture, deputies managed to detain Farias during a subsequent encounter using a vehicle-blocking maneuver.

During the arrest Farias allegedly exhibited a cavalier attitude smiling and laughing as deputies interacted with him. His behavior extended beyond evading authorities to include provocative posts aimed at law enforcement vehicles on social media platforms. This incident highlights broader concerns addressed by the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO) which recently made headlines for arresting three other teenagers on murder charges linked to similar reckless driving behaviors and their online documentation.
