Authorities in Mississippi have arrested Daniel Callihan, 36, and Victoria Cox, 32, following a distressing series of events. It began with an Amber Alert issued by Louisiana State Police for the abduction of two young sisters, 4-year-old Erin Brunett and 6-year-old Jalie Brunett, from Loranger, Louisiana. The alert also revealed the tragic death of the girls mother and Callie Brunett, in a domestic violence incident, according to the report of True Crime Daily.
Jackson Police Chief Joseph Wade reported that U.S. Marshals swiftly located Callihan’s vehicle and assisted in his arrest after a brief pursuit. During the operation, officers tragically discovered Erin Brunett deceased in nearby woods while her older sister was found alive and rushed to a hospital for medical care.
