Breathe LA County is launching a program to give $1,000 monthly stimulus checks to 1,000 residents for three years. An extra 200 former foster youth will also get this support for two years. To qualify, applicants must be 21-24 years old, former foster youth from Los Angeles County, and live in a low-income area. They should also have been affected financially by the pandemic and not be in another similar program.
Breathe LA County Extends Application Deadline for $1,000 Monthly Stimulus Program
The application period has closed, but it’s been extended from June 20 to July 3. Applicants can apply online during this time. This extension aims to ensure everyone who needs help has a chance to apply.
Furthermore, the program targets specific groups in need by focusing on former foster youth in the specified age range and residents living in low-income areas of Los Angeles County.
