Credit Card Users Eligible for Compensation in $16 Million Settlement

According to the article in The US Sun, Capital One credit card users might get money soon. There’s a $16 million settlement from a lawsuit. The lawsuit says Capital One charged fees illegally on returned transactions. These fees happened when people tried to pay but didn’t have enough money.

Automatic Compensation for Capital One Credit Card Holders

The lawsuit applies to individuals who incurred these fees from September 1, 2015, to January 12, 2022. While Capital One agreed to the settlement, they did not acknowledge any wrongdoing. Recipients do not need to submit applications for compensation as it will be distributed automatically and evenly among those impacted.
