Pennsylvania Seniors Can Apply for Up to $1,000 Property Tax/Rent Rebate Online

As reported by The US Sun, seniors residing in Pennsylvania now have until December 31, 2024, to submit their applications for a rebate check of up to $1,000 via the Property Tax/Rent Rebate program. The extension of the deadline from June 30 was implemented to offer additional time to individuals requiring assistance, courtesy of Shapiro‘s initiative to allocate further funds for the program.

The rebate, which can be between $380 and $1,000, is for Pennsylvania residents who are over 65, widows over 50, or people with disabilities over 18. To qualify, their yearly household income must be $45,000 or less. This program helps reduce the amount of property tax or rent that people with low incomes have to pay.
