Thousands of Americans are expected to receive payments from a $3 billion budget in the new stimulus check update in 2023.

Stimulus Check Update in 2023 – Are You Eligible?

The U.S. Sun reports that thousands of Americans may be able to receive payments from the new stimulus check update in 2023.

A 3 billion budget was passed in the state last May. U.S. residents that pay taxes can receive checks as refunds for their tax payments under the Stimulus Checks Eligibility criteria, the new stimulus check update in 2023 noted.

The structure of the stimulus checks is divided into three categories; individual taxpayers, married couples, and families with children. Individual tax payers who made $75,000 or less can get a one-time payment of $260. Couples who are married and have less than $150,000 can get $520. Families are paid an extra sum for dependents with a maximum of $1,300.

Farmers, essential workers or frontline workers, teachers, and people struggling through high inflation are also eligible for the stimulus checks.

Stimulus Check Update in 2023: 14 States That Will Receive Checks

Marca reports that out of the 50 states, the new stimulus check update in 2023 states that only 14 states have displayed a plan for a stimulus check, which are;

  • Arizona
  • California
  • Colorado
  • Main
  • Maryland
  • Missouri
  • New Mexico
  • New York
  • Vermont
  • Florida
  • Georgia
  • Michigan
  • Tennessee, and
  • Texas.

Check Your Eligibility Through IRS Get My Payment

The U.S. also provides a website that allows taxpayers to check their eligibility status through IRS Get My Payment. Users can use the tool by providing their Social Security Number, Individual Taxpayer Identification Number, DOB, and Postal Address.

The IRS Get My Payment will also provide the status of the stimulus payment, including if it has been processed, when it will be given, and whether an issue must be resolved.
