Tragic Stabbing Incident Leaves Mother and Toddler Injured in North Olmsted, Ohio Parking Lot
A normal trip to a grocery store turned into a nightmare in North Olmsted, Ohio. Police rushed to a Giant Eagle store parking lot on Monday, June 3, around 3 p.m. after hearing about a stabbing. They found Margot Wood and her 3-year-old son, Julian, badly hurt. Julian didn’t make it and Margot is recovering from her injuries, according to the report of True Crime Daily.
Investigators found that Margot and Julian were attacked as they returned to their car after shopping. Bionca Ellis allegedly approached them with a kitchen knife and quickly stabbed both of them. The attack seemed to come out of nowhere leaving the victims defenseless.
Community Mourns After Random Stabbing Attack in North Olmsted, Ohio
Police acted fast and caught Ellis with the knife. They say the attack was random and without reason. Ellis faced a judge on Tuesday, June 4, through a video link. She’s charged with serious crimes, including aggravated murder and her bail was set at $1 million.
The community is reeling from the tragedy. Mayor Nicole Dailey Jones offered sympathy to the victims and their families. Giant Eagle, where the attack happened, expressed deep sadness over the loss of Julian and support for his family. In the face of such senseless violence and the community is coming together to show compassion and strength.
