According to the published article on Fox 12 Oregon, over the weekend, the Sandy Police Department caught two men in a sting operation targeting child predators. They pretended to be kids online, and some people tried to meet them for sex. One man, Alexander Ortiz Soto, 29, from Beaverton, was arrested for trying to lure a minor and for online sexual misconduct with a minor. Another man, George Leonard Paasch, 72, from The Dalles, got arrested later for similar charges.
