According to the published article of Pix 11, this Sunday, New Yorkers with Electronic Benefits Transfer cards won’t be able to get their benefits. From 12:01 a.m. to 11 a.m., the Electronic Benefits Transfer system will be offline for upgrades. This means people can’t take out cash, buy food, or shop in stores using their Electronic Benefits Transfer cards. Even the customer service helpline, mobile app, and online portal will be unavailable.
