Isis Navarro Reyes Faces 20 Years in Jail for Alleged Sale of Illegal Weight Loss Drugs
According to True Crime Daily, A woman named Isis Navarro Reyes also known as Beraly Navarro is in trouble in Long Island, New York. She’s accused of getting illegal weight loss drugs and Ozempic from outside the country and selling them on TikTok even though she wasn’t allowed to do so. The U.S. Attorney’s Office announced the charges on May 1st. If she’s found guilty, Reyes could spend up to 20 years in jail.

Woman Faces Federal Charges for Selling Misbranded Weight Loss Drugs on TikTok
One person who bought illegal weight loss drugs from Reyes got hurt and developed sores in July 2023. Their doctor said it was because the drug was contaminated. Tests by the New York Department of Health found that the Mesofrance from Reyes had harmful bacteria in it. In December 2023 an undercover police officer started talking to Reyes about buying Ozempic. In January 2024, the officer paid Reyes $375 and got the drug without a prescription. The package arrived on January 12th and the labeling on it was in Spanish which goes against FDA rules. The U.S. Attorney Damian Williams said Reyes’s actions caused serious harm to people and that criminals should think twice before selling illegal weight loss drugs.
