According to 21Alive News Chancarlo Fields, Jr., found himself in the spotlight of law enforcement once again this time in Decatur, Indiana following a dramatic pursuit with the Adams County Sheriff’s deputies. Wanted for his involvement in a domestic dispute involving a firearm back in November Fields was tracked down after authorities located a vehicle matching the description associated with reports of an unwanted individual in Decatur over the weekend. However upon their attempt to make contact Fields reportedly fled the scene setting off a pursuit that eventually ended in a collision with a utility pole at the intersection of Oak and First Streets. Despite the damage sustained by his vehicle Fields persisted in evading capture continuing to drive on three wheels until he was finally detained on US 27 North outside of Decatur.
In the wake of his apprehension Fields now faces preliminary charges of resisting law enforcement and reckless driving with his current residence being the Allen County Jail. This recent incident compounds Fields’ legal woes, as just earlier this month, a warrant had been issued for his arrest in Allen County in connection to another case. In this separate incident Fields stands accused of firing at a vehicle in a hotel parking lot last November, leading to six felony charges being filed against him.
