According to Southwest Journal, in Utah where controversies like polygamy and unlicensed alcohol stores often make headlines, there’s now attention on something else riskiest places. South Salt Lake is seen as one of the riskiest places in the state for 2024. This conclusion comes after looking at FBI crime data for 60 cities in Utah which showed a lot of violent and property crimes. Even though Utah is one of the richest states, places like South Salt Lake still have lots of crime, unemployment, and low incomes, making life tough for people there. It shows that there might be problems with how money is spread out across the state and that more help might be needed for these struggling communities.

Most Riskiest Places in Utah
West Valley
West Valley which is the fifth riskiest place to live in Utah, people are dealing with a lot of crime, especially violent crime.
