Tragic House Party Shooting Incident at Cornelius Party
According to Fox 12 Oregon, a house party shooting happened at a party in Cornelius in February 2022. A young man named Cesar Yovanni Alvarez-Alcazar who was 20 years old got into a big argument with some people at the party. Among them was Jose Angel Rodriguez-Sanchez also 20, who got shot several times by Alvarez-Alcazar. Sadly Rodriguez-Sanchez died because of his injuries. Alvarez-Alcazar also shot at another person but luckily didn’t hurt them.

Arrest and Conviction of House Party Shooting of Alvarez-Alcazar
After the house party shooting, Alvarez-Alcazar ran away from the party. But the police found out who he was and caught him in September 2022 during a traffic stop in Salem. When they searched his car they found a loaded gun hidden under the driver’s seat. They also found 400 rounds of bullets and body armor. This was alarming evidence that showed how dangerous Alvarez-Alcazar was. Alvarez-Alcazar faced the consequences of his actions in court. He was found guilty of second-degree murder and was sentenced to life in prison. The judge said he might have the chance to get out on parole after 25 years but he would still spend a long time behind bars.
