According to CBS News, A Chicago Police officer faced a scary situation when a pit bull attacked her dog during a walk in Bridgeport. The officer tried to stop the pit bull but it kept biting her dog’s neck. She had to use her gun to stop the pit bull attack and the pit bull died as a result. The officer’s dog was given back to her but no one got in trouble for what happened.

The pit bull’s owner didn’t have their dog on a leash which led to the pit bull attack. After everything was over, nobody got a ticket for what happened. It’s a reminder to always keep dogs on a leash to avoid dangerous situations like this.
