Xisen Guo Arrested in Connection with Illegal Marijuana Grow House
According to CBS News, law officers in Maine found another illegal marijuana-growing house showing how foreigners are using state laws to make money illegally. They caught one such operation in Passadumkeag where they seized almost 40 pounds of marijuana. They arrested Xisen Guo who’s originally from China but is now a U.S. citizen. It’s the first time someone’s been charged federally for this kind of 40 pounds of marijuana crime in Maine.

Cracking Down on Illicit 40 Pounds of Marijuana Grow Houses
The problem is that some Americans are taking advantage of the fact that some states allow marijuana. They set up secret grow houses that are hard to find until the police notice strange things like high electricity use or weird smells. Now, law officers from different levels of government are working together to stop these operations. Even though they’ve closed down many of these illegal operations there are still more out there like the 40 pounds of marijuana they seized. They’re trying to figure out who’s really behind all these 40 pounds of marijuana and where the money is going. It’s a big job but they’re working hard to keep communities safe from these illegal activities.
