According to True Crime Daily a lady in Tulsa, Oklahoma got into trouble when she said a stolen Jeep Liberty was a birthday gift from someone at Waffle House. The lady, Angela Harrison told the police she met someone at a gas station who gave her the car and $10 for her upcoming 53rd birthday. But the police found holes in her story pretty quickly.

The Tulsa Police Department got a message about the stolen Jeep and followed it until they could stop it. Even though Harrison said it was a gift the police found out the Jeep was stolen before Christmas. They even had a picture of Harrison driving it in January. Harrison couldn’t explain how she got the car if it was supposedly given to her just an hour before she got stopped by the police. In the end Harrison got arrested for having a stolen jeep. This whole thing shows lying can get you in trouble and police need to do their job well to find out the truth. The stolen Jeep went back to its owner’s family and Harrison had to deal with the legal consequences of being involved in taking it.
