According to The Seattle Times, some eye drops and ointments have been taken off store shelves because of recalls in 2023 and 2024. People are worried if the products used for dry or sore eyes are safe. A company called Brassica Pharma recalled four eye ointments from stores like Walmart and CVS because they might not be sterile. But no one got sick from using them.
