A 67-year-old man will go to prison for life for raping a young girl under his care hundreds of times.

The Court District of Colombia announced that Charles Clark, 67 years old was sentenced to life in prison after being held guilty for raping his adopted daughter
Charles Clark has to serve supervised release for life and register as a sex offender and he pleaded guilty in court last Oct. 11, 2022, to coercion and raping a minor.
Clark also pleaded guilty in the same case out of Charles County, Maryland, on March 30, 2023, to one count of raping of a minor and continuing conduct and one count of raping a minor. On Dec. 7, 2023, a jury sentenced him to 45 years imprisonment in the case.
Beginning in June 2017, Clark was raping a child under 17 years old for five years. Prosecutors said Clark was a father figure to his adopted daughter and raised her. Yet, Clark was raping the victim between 170 and 200 times.
Police arrested Clark on April 2, 2021, and he has stayed in custody since then
Clark forced the victim to provide sexually explicit photos of her, and she did it twice. The victim told her mother everything about the repeated raping she experienced, and her mother reported it to the police.
Police used the victim’s Instagram account to message Clark as her, and Clark admitted that he had been raping the girl for several years. He said the victim gave him the most precious thing a woman can give a man, and it was her “virginity” at 13 years old.
