According to true crime daily, this week, a 63-year-old lady called Beverly McCallum was convicted guilty of a terrifying crime that spans more than 20 years in a compelling courtroom drama. She was found guilty by the jury of second-degree murder and desecration of Roberto Caraballo’s body. McCallum was presented as the mastermind behind Caraballo’s demise in this macabre story, one that was carried out with startling severity. This grim saga began to unravel when McCallum, alongside her daughter Dineane Ducharme and their associate Christopher McMillan, plotted Caraballo’s murder in May 2002. The trio reportedly attacked Caraballo, using a hammer in a failed attempt to end his life. When he didn’t succumb, McCallum resorted to asphyxiation with a plastic bag. Caraballo’s charred remains were discovered in a blueberry field, a testament to the heinous act that had transpired.
