Ohio‘s Tax Credit Authority Approves 11 Projects to Boost Jobs and Economic Growth
Electric Car Parts Manufacturer Vehtek Systems Inc. to Create 120 New Jobs in Bowling Green
According to Toledo Blade, Ohio‘s Tax Credit Authority recently gave the green light to 11 projects across the state aiming to boost jobs and economic growth. Two of these projects are especially exciting for northwest Ohio. Vehtek Systems Inc. plans to make 120 new full-time jobs in Bowling Green bringing in about $5.9 million more in yearly pay. They’re expanding to make parts for electric cars thanks to Ohio‘s tax credit that lasts eight years.

Over 1,000 Jobs Created and Car Industry Revitalized – Ohio‘s Tax Credit And Electric Vehicle Parts Manufacturing Boom
Norplas Industries Inc. plans to create 140 full-time jobs in Rossford adding $6.3 million to yearly payroll focusing on making battery cases for electric vehicles. Together with other projects over 1,000 jobs will be created and 567 maintained across Ohio bringing in $65 million in new pay and $500 million in investments. Governor Mike DeWine and Lieutenant Governor Jon Husted support these efforts to boost Ohio‘s car industry making the state a leader in electric vehicle parts manufacturing. Northwest Ohio is poised for positive economic growth and job opportunities.
