According to WGN RADIO 720, Illinois lawmakers are thinking about a big change – a new income plan to give people money each month. State Sen. Ram Villivalam is leading this effort with Senate Bill 3462. The income plan is to start giving $1,000 every month to eligible residents from 2027 onwards. What’s different is that this income plan would help people regardless of where they come from.
