The “All My Life” rapper was almost finished with his performance on Saturday night at Lil Durk’s Show when the Chicago Police Department got a call about a gunman in the area, according to TMZ. In video footage from the event, terrified spectators can be seen hurriedly scrambling for cover inside the venue. In other footage, fans could be seen stealing merchandise before leaving.
According to TMZ, police responded to the United Centers in pursuit of an active shooter, but Chicago PD stated it turned out to be a false alarm. There were no accidents or arrests. Durk is presently on tour in support of his eighth studio album, Almost Healed, which debuted on the Billboard 200 in June at No. 3. After being hospitalized for extreme dehydration, the rapper was forced to cancel several dates of his tour, including a performance at Rolling Loud Miami in late July.
