An Illinois man has been charged with multiple murders in connection with an attack in Rockford that left four people dead, the county prosecutor said.

The Illinois Man who is the suspect allegedly admitted to the crimes charging Multiple Murders, telling police authorities he had taken marijuana he believed was “laced with an unknown narcotic” before the stabbing rampage.
According to the police, four people were killed, including a 15-year-old girl who was killed saving her sister, after an Illinois man carried the stabbing attacks last Wednesday near the city of Rockford.
The Illinois Man also injured seven other people in what the mayor called his random and senseless act of violence.

Police arrested the Illinois Man into custody on charges of murder
The Illinois Man identified as Christian Soto, 22. The police put him into custody on charges of multiple murder, attempted murder, and home invasion. The stabbing attacks occurred in Rockford and an area of Winnebago Count.
Illinois Man appeared in court on Thursday afternoon and was denied pretrial release until his next hearing.
Illinois Man faces up to 60 years in prison on each count of first-degree murder and attempted first-degree murder and up to 30 years in prison for each count of home invasion.
