According to the Laconia Daily Sun, Franklin City is going to build another water feature at Mill City Park. They’re using money from selling tax credits to help pay for it. The city has already sold tax credits for the first water feature at the park. This new water feature will be for people who like surfing and paddleboarding.

Mixed Opinions on Tax Credits for Franklin’s Water Feature Park Expansion

Some people in the city are not sure about using tax credits for this water feature project. They worry it might make taxes go up. The mayor and some councilors do not fully support the water feature idea. They think the city should focus on things like schools and roads instead. However, the city still wants to go ahead with the water feature project. They believe it will bring more visitors to Franklin and help businesses. They will keep looking for money from private investors to make sure the water feature park is successful.
