Amidst the chaos four individuals in critical condition were airlifted while six others with potentially serious injuries were transported by ambulance. Another group comprising about ten patients with minor injuries was taken to a children’s hospital via an ambulance bus. The Hays Consolidated Independent School District confirmed that among the passengers were 44 students and 11 adults, with the young victim identified only as a precious pre-K student from Tom Green Elementary School in Buda as stated by Eric Wright the district superintendent.
