Finger lakes – In a big step forward for clean energy, the U.S. Department of the Treasury and the IRS have announced some exciting news. They say that over 45,500 clean energy projects have signed up for new tax credit options. This is thanks to something called the Inflation Reduction Act, which helps speed up the building of clean energy projects all across America.

The Act introduced new ways to give out tax credits for clean energy projects. These ways make it easier for different groups like local governments and non-profit organizations, to get these credits. Before, it was harder for these groups to use the credits because of certain rules. Now, with the new changes, it’s much simpler for them to benefit from these incentives and support clean energy.
