According to Des Moines Register, Iowa’s leaders are thinking about a new law to help bring movies back to the state. The proposed House Study Bill 731 would give big tax credit bill to movie studios making films in Iowa. This comes after past problems with Iowa’s old film tax credit bill program, which led to legal issues, millions of dollars lost and people going to jail.
