California Residents in Fresno County to Receive Monthly Payments Through New Program
The US Sun – Starting March 15, California residents in Fresno County can apply for a special program called the Advancing Fresno County Guarantee Income Program. This program promises monthly payments of $500 for a whole year. The money will come from the program, and it’s meant to help people with their expenses. Once people get accepted into the program, they can spend the money however they need. Whether it is for buying food, taking care of their children or paying bills at home, the funds are flexible. The idea is to give people some extra support to help them with their daily lives.

Summer Rollout: Fresno County’s Financial Safety Net for Eligible Residents
The payments will start rolling out in the summer to those who qualify. To be eligible, candidates must meet three specific criteria. This initiative aims to provide a safety net for individuals and families in Fresno County, offering them some financial stability during uncertain times.
Qualifications!
Residents of southwest Fresno or Huron may qualify for the Advancing Fresno County Guarantee Income Program if they meet certain criteria. To be eligible, individuals must be 18 years or older and either pregnant or have at least one child under the age of five. Additionally, families must earn 80% or less of the area median income for their zip code. This initiative, targeting areas with significant poverty rates aims to provide support to households in need. In southwest Fresno, applicants must earn annual salaries of $30,000 or less to be considered for the program.
