Ex-Google Employee Allegedly Shared Tech Secrets with China

According to the report of Data Breach, Linwei Ding a former high-ranking employee at Google is in big trouble. He’s accused of sneaking out secret stuff from Google’s supercomputing centers. This secret stuff includes important software that makes Google’s computers run smartly. The government says Ding shared this secret stuff with companies in China to help them get ahead in technology. Ding was living a double life bouncing between the US and China. Even though he was a big shot at Google he was also involved with Chinese tech companies. He even started his own company trying to copy Google’s powerful computer systems. To hide what he was doing Ding apparently used some sneaky tactics like copying secret files to his personal devices and converting them into different formats.
