Man Caught Speeding with Children Faces Drunk Driving Arrest

According to WEAU 13 News, Daniel Oconnell a 34-year-old man from Freeport, IL was stopped by police on Interstate 94 near Eau Claire, WI, on Feb 29 at 3:20 p.m. He was speeding and not wearing a seatbelt with five kids in the car including twin nine-month-olds and teens.

Father Drunk Driving Arrest Drug Influence with Kids On Board
The cops gave Oconnell some tests to see if he was drunk. They found out he had taken drugs before driving. They arrested him for driving while being influenced by drugs which is against the law especially when there are kids in the car. The kids were given to someone from their family to take care of them while Oconnell went to the hospital for more blood test to check what drugs he had taken.
