Caregiver in Florida Arrested for Hurting 10-Month-Old Baby
Authorities Alarmed by Severity of Infant’s Injuries
A caregiver in Florida, Suwannee County got arrested for hurting a 10-month-old baby she was looking after. Heather Hogan, who’s 39 years old faces serious charges of hurting the child and not taking care of them properly. The baby ended up in the hospital after showing signs of a seizure and doctors found out the baby had been seriously hurt. The sheriff’s office says the baby had lots of bruises, a broken bone, and even tested positive for cannabis according to True Crime Daily. Doctors also found injuries inside the baby’s mouth and other bruises that were healing. The poor baby even lost their ability to see because of the injuries. Heather Hogan is now in jail with a bond set at $600,000.
